Schwab Emerging Markets Equity ETF tracks the performance of the most liquid large- and mid-cap companies in the emerging markets. Managed by Schwab, this ETF was established in 2010.

The Schwab Emerging Markets Equity ETF fund’s primary goal is to replicate the investment results of the FTSE Emerging Index. This index includes stocks in companies located in emerging countries, such as Brazil, China and Taiwan. The base currency of this fund is USD. In general, this fund typically invests at least 90% of its assets in components of the index.

Stock for the Schwab Emerging Markets Equity ETF is available on the NYSE Arca under the ticker SCHE. As of April 2022, this ETF had total net assets of $9.22bn. This fund includes investments across a wide range of sectors, including financials, information technology, consumer discretionary, communication services and materials. As of 14 April 2022, some of the fund’s top holdings included Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, Tencent Holding Ltd, Alibaba Group Holding Ltd, Reliance Industries Ltd, Vale SA, Infosys Ltd, Meituan, China Construction Bank Corp H, Al Rajhi Bank and Housing Development Finance Corporation.
