Santos Limited is an oil and gas exploration and production company that has been in operation since 1954. As one of the largest natural gas suppliers in Australia, its primary focus is the exploration and transportation of natural gas and crude oil across Australia and Papua New Guinea. Operating internationally, Santos Limited has its headquarters in Adelaide, Australia.

Santos Limited maintains five principal assets located in the Cooper Basin, Queensland and NSW, Northern Australia and Timor-Leste, Western Australia and Papua New Guinea. The company also has an asset located in Alaska and develops carbon capture and storage technologies. Among the products produced by Santos are natural gas, ethane, methane, liquefied petroleum gas, coal seam gas, shale gas, liquefied natural gas and condensate, as well as oil.

In December 2021, Santos merged with Oil Search Limited, the largest oil and gas exploration company incorporated in Papua New Guinea. Santos acquired 100% of the issued shares in Oil Search and issued shares of Santos to shareholders of Oil Search. Santos Ltd is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange under the ticker STO. Stock for the company has been listed on the exchange since February 1988.
