The Xtrackers Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares ETF tracks the overall investment performance of the CSI 300 Index. This index reflects the performances and price fluctuations of the China A-share market. It comprises the 300 most prominent and liquid stocks trading on the China-A Share market. As such, it includes small, mid, and large capitalisation stocks. The Xtrackers Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares ETF is sub-advised by Harvest Global Investments Limited and was launched in November 2013. This ETF is domiciled in the United States and uses USD as its base currency.

Harvest Global Investments Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvest Fund Management Co., Ltd. The company was established in 2008. Harvest Fund Management Co., Ltd. was founded in 1999 and is one of China’s largest institutional asset managers. Operating internationally, Harvest Fund Management Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Beijing, China, and has office locations in New York and London.

The Xtrackers Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares ETF was the first US-listed China ETF able to access the China A-share market. This fund typically invests at least 80% of its assets in securities of companies listed on the stated index. The top investment sectors include financial, consumer defensive, technology, and industrial located in emerging Asian markets. This ETF is listed on the NYSE under the ASHR ticker.
