What Is China Everbright Environment Group Ltd?
China Everbright International Limited was established in Hong Kong in 1983.
This large financial holdings group is focused on construction, environmental energy projects and operates businesses across domestic and international markets.

China Everbright International is mainly focused on a number of areas, including banking, securities, insurance, asset management, trusts, futures and financial leasing, but also industrial business entities ranging from ecological and environmental management and new energy to cultural travel and medical care.

The group is involved in 93 waste-to-energy projects, 12 food waste treatment projects, two landfill leachate treatment projects, two methane-to-energy projects, three sludge treatment and disposal projects, one fecal treatment project and one fly ash landfill project, with a total investment of approximately RMB49.945 billion. Overall, the company’s projects have a total waste processing capacity of approximately 31.79 million tonnes, which can generate annual on-grid electricity of approximately 10.1 billion kWh.
