Krispy Kreme’s online commerce and delivery business saw significant growth, which may be attributed to the global coronavirus pandemic. The e-commerce business fuels approximately a fifth of sales in the United States.
Krispy Kreme went public on 1 July 2021, raising $500m with its IPO, which was valued at $2.6bn. The company sold 29.4 million shares valued at $17 each. This selling price was below earlier indications, which ranged between $21 and $24 per share. Krispy Kreme trades on the NASDAQ under the DNUT stock ticker.
