On behalf of tenement owners, the company also manages logistics, production, processing, marketing, ship loading and export of resource commodities. Mineral Resources Limited maintains a portfolio of iron ore assets, in addition to interests in the Wodgina and Mount Marion lithium projects in Western Australia.

In August 2021, Mineral Resources announced reaching an agreement to acquire Red Hill Iron Limited’s 40% interest in the Red Hill Iron Joint Venture in Western Australia. The remaining 60% interest is jointly owned by Aquila Steel and AMCI. Since August 2006, stock for Mineral Resources has been listed on the Australian Securities Exchange under the ticker MIN.
