SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 Growth ETF SPYG

The SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 Growth ETF aims to provide investment results that generally correspond with the total return performance of the S&P 500 Growth Index. This fund was established in 2000 and domiciled in the United States. State Street Global Advisors, which was founded in 1978, manages the SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 Growth ETF. The company is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, and operates internationally.

This ETF invests at least 80% of its assets in the securities listed on the S&P 500 Growth Index, which tracks the performance of large capitalisation exchange traded US equity securities that show growth traits. The fund is non-diversified and uses US dollars as base currency. Although the majority of assets are invested in US companies, the exchange traded fund also has minor investments in the United Kingdom, emerging and developed Asia, and Europe.

The SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 Growth ETF mainly invests in the technology, consumer cyclical, communication services, healthcare, and financial services sectors. This fund’s top holdings as of March 2022 include Apple Inc., Microsoft Corp., Amazon.com Inc., Alphabet Inc., and Tesla Inc. The ETF trades on the NYSE under the SPYG ticker.
