Operating globally, Capri Holdings Ltd is a multinational fashion holdings company with its main interest in luxury goods and jewellery. Formerly named Michael Kors Holdings (KORS), after the original founder of the company, Capri was incorporated after Kors acquired the designer brand Versace and luxury shoe brand Jimmy Choo. It began trading under the new name in January 2019. The company was founded in 1981 and has four executive offices in London. It also has some operational offices in New York.
Capri Holdings Ltd sells designer clothes, shoes, handbags, wristwatches, rings, and other fashion accessories. The company designs, markets, and distributes branded apparels and accessories for both men and women in United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Versace, a subsidiary of the company, also produces and sell fragrances, interior furnishings, footwear, sunshades, and numerous other fashion-related items. Its products are sold through a wide distribution network that includes boutiques, department and specialty stores, and Versace e-commerce sites. Capri Holdings also licenses the Versace brand name and trademarks to third parties.
