What Is CryoPort Inc.?
Cryoport, Inc. provides cryogenic logistics solutions to the life sciences industry. It is a leading supplier of cold chain logistics solutions for biopharmaceutical, IVF and animal health organizations around the globe, with operations in more than 100 countries. The company was founded in 1999 and has headquarters in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Cryoport Inc completed its first acquisition in May 2019, when it acquired Cryogene, a Texas bio storage company that complements the firm’s primary business. Cryoport stock is included in the broad-market Russell 3000 Index and the small-cap Russell 2000 Index.

Cryoport’s stock is listed on the NASDAQ CM under the ticker CYRX. Stock for the company has been listed on the stock exchange since September 2005. On 4 June 2021, the company announced the acquisition of Australia-based Critical Transport Solutions Australia Pty Ltd, a specialist in time- and temperature-critical solutions for the medical and pharmaceutical industries, in a deal for $5m. On 18 April 2022, Cryoport announced the acquisition of Cell&Co BioServices, a France-based bioservices business that provides kitting, biorepository and logistics services to the life sciences industry. The cash and stock deal was worth approximately €6.2m.
