Founded in 1972, the company is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and operates highly recognisable brands, such as Maaco and Meineke. Driven also has an international customer base, with a presence in 15 countries.

As of April 2022, Driven Brands operated over 4,400 brand locations with over 4,900 employees. The company operates through a number of divisions, including Maintenance, Paint, Collision & Glass, Platform Services and Carwash. Driven Brands is the parent company of several of North America’s leading automotive service businesses, such as Take 5 Oil Change, CARSTAR, Meineke Car Care Centers, Maaco, and 1-800-Radiator & A/C.

Stock for Driven Brands is listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the ticker DRVN. The company’s stock has been listed on the exchange since its IPO in January 2021. In November 2021, the company announced the acquisition of Magic Tunnel Car Wash, a car wash operator with 16 sites across Georgia, Ohio and West Virginia. On 4 January 2022, Driven announced the acquisition of Auto Glass Now, a leader in auto glass repair, replacement and calibration.
