DT Midstream, Inc. is an American natural gas company engaged in the ownership, operation, and development of natural gas midstream interstate pipelines. The firm focuses on intrastate and gathering lateral pipelines, storage, gathering systems and compression, treatment, and surface facilities. The firm is headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, and was spun-off from DTE Energy as a separate company in 2021.
The firm is primarily engaged in the provision of clean, natural gas to a range of customers such as gas and electric utilities, power plants, large industrial customers, and other energy producers across the Southern, Northeastern and Midwestern United States, and in Eastern Canada. The firm’s subsidiary companies include Bluestone Pipeline Company of Pennsylvania LLC, DTE Appalachia Gathering LLC, DTE Appalachia Holdings LLC, and DTE LEAP Gas Gathering, LLC.
The firm’s assets include 900 miles of FERC-regulated interstate pipelines, 290 miles of lateral pipelines, gas storage assets with capacity of 94 Bcf, and more than 1,000 miles of gathering pipelines in premier dry gas basins across the United States. The firm is listed on the NYSE where it trades under the stock ticker DTM.
