What Is Elastic NV?
Elastic NV is a technology company providing cutting edge, open-source search solutions, known collectively as the Elastic Stack, or ELK Stack. The firm was founded in 2012 and is incorporated in the Netherlands. Operating internationally, Elastic has dual corporate headquarters located in Amsterdam and California.

Elastic Stack is a collection of innovative technology tools that includes Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats and Logstash. Elastic software solutions are used by a range of corporations, including T-Mobile, Sky, Proctor & Gamble and Bayer AG. Elastic's products are used by both individual developers and organisations in a range of industries to support site and workplace searching, logging, metrics and application performance management.

Elastic NV began trading on the NYSE in October 2018 under the ticker ESTC. In September 2021, Elastic completed the acquisition of build.security, a policy definition and enforcement platform. During September 2021, the company also completed its acquisition of Cmd, a leader in infrastructure detection. In October 2021, Elastic announced an agreement to acquire Optimyze, an “always on” continuous profiling platform for applications, services and infrastructure. With these acquisitions, Elastic intends to deliver a unified approach to data collection.
