Getinge was founded in 1904 in Getinge, Sweden, where it is headquartered to this day. This global medical technology company provides products and systems aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency levels in healthcare and the life sciences. Getinge operates in more than 40 countries around the world, employs more than 10,000 people and conducts sales in more than 135 locations.

The company offers hospitals and life science institutions, products and solutions aimed at improving clinical results, optimising workflows and creating a wide range of solutions for intensive care, cardiovascular procedures, operating rooms, sterile reprocessing and more.

Company production facilities are located in China, France, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Turkey and the US. Getinge is focused on three business segments: Surgical Workflows, Acute Care Therapies, and Patient and Post-Acute Care. In 2016, the three separate business areas merged into the single company we know today.
