The company's main project, the Pilgangoora Project has reported a resource of about 213 metric tons grading over 1.32% lithium oxide, with 116 parts per million Tantalite and 1.08 Iron oxide, as of February 2021.

The company is focused on the delivery of a low-cost, quality spodumene, but Pilbara Minerals stated in February 2022 that they will also pursue a diversification and growth strategy. This will enable them to evolve into a low-cost and sustainable lithium producer as well as a fully integrated raw materials and chemicals supplier. The firm is listed on the ASX where it trades under the stock ticker PLS.
