Vanguard Information Technology VGT

The Vanguard Information Technology ETF provides exposure to stocks of companies that serve the electronics and computer industries or that manufacture products based on the latest applied science. Managed by The Vanguard Group, Inc., this ETF was established in January 2004.

The Vanguard Information Technology fund's key objective is to replicate the investment performance of the MSCI US Investable Market Index/Information Technology 25/50. This index includes stocks of large, mid-size, and small US companies within the information technology sector. In general, the fund invests all, or substantially all, of its assets in stocks for companies that are listed in the index, holding each stock in approximately the same proportion as its weighting in the index. The base currency for this fund is USD.
