The Vanguard S&P 500 Growth ETF tracks the performance of large-capitalization growth companies in the United States. Managed by Vanguard Equity Index Group, this ETF was established in 2010.

The Vanguard S&P 500 Growth ETF’s primary goal is to mirror the investment results of the S&P 500 Growth Index. This index identifies growth stocks on the basis of three factors: momentum, sales growth and the ratio of earnings change to price. This fund’s base currency is USD. In general, the fund invests all, or substantially all, of its total assets in stocks for companies that are listed in this index.

The Vanguard S&P 500 Growth ETF is listed on the NYSE Arca under the ticker VOOG. As of 31 January 2022, this ETF had total net assets of $7.4bn and held 304 stocks. This fund includes investments across a range of industry sectors, with an emphasis on Information Technology, Consumer Discretionary, Communication Services and Health Care.
