In 2021, Ambarella Inc acquired Oculii, a technology company whose adaptive AI software algorithms enable radar perception using currently available radar chips to achieve up to 100x higher resolution, along with longer range and increased accuracy. This acquisition will facilitate expansion of the firm’s existing AI used for automotive and other IoT applications. Ambarella is listed on the NASDAQ and trades under the ticker AMBA.
