Qantas Airways Limited is an Australian airline that operates international and domestic flights to, from and within Australia. Founded in 1920, the firm has its corporate headquarters in Mascot, New South Wales.

Qantas Airways Limited operates through several segments, including Qantas Domestic, Qantas International, Qantas Loyalty and Jetstar Group. In addition to passenger flights, the company also offers air cargo and express freight services and offers customer loyalty programs. As of 30 June 2021, the company’s fleet includes 311 aircraft operating under the Qantas and Jetstar brands.

In February 2019, the company acquired a 19.9% stake in Australian-based charter operator Alliance Airlines in a deal for $60m. In November 2021, Qantas added a Green tier to its airline loyalty program that aims to reward frequent flyers with Qantas points for offsetting emissions in their everyday lives. Some of the activities that will earn rewards include walking to work, staying in eco-hotels, offsetting flights and installing solar panels at home. Qantas Airways stock trades on the Australian Securities Exchange under the ticker QAN. Stock for the company has been listed on the exchange since August 1995.
