It was established in April 2017 as a result of the merger of Hewlett Packard’s Enterprise Service business with Computer Science Corporation. DXC is headquartered in Ashburn, Virginia, and has 138 office locations across 56 countries.
At the time of the merger, DXC Technology was serving 70 countries with 170,000 employees and revenues of $25bn. It operates through two segments: Global Business Services (GBS) provides technology consulting to address its clients IT challenges, while Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) provides technology offerings that help reduce business risk and operational costs for clients. DXC is a Fortune 500 global IT services leader. The company has earned awards and recognition from partners and analysts such as Best Global Culture, Best CEOs for Diversity, and Leader in System Integrator Capabilities on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021. As of March 2019, it has over 500 subsidiaries, including Luxoft, Xchanging, CSC Australia, and Argodesign LLC.
