We are constantly growing and are excited to share that we are looking for a Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our team!
What will you be doing?
The Risk Analyst supports the Risk & Compliance (RC) Team to ensure the successful execution and management of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), Compliance Plans and the Business Continuity program across the business. This role supports the independent risk function and the business with all manner of risk identification, risk assessment, committee and Board reporting, 2nd line controls assurance activities, third party risk management, business continuity management and meeting Spaceship/ eToro's regulatory requirements.
- Support the rollout of a new RC system across the business and act as system administrator and coordinator post implementation.
- Help with implementation and delivery of the compliance and risk frameworks.
- Support the risk ‘governance’ processes in regards to internal assessment and reporting processes and requirements, particularly regarding outsourcing and third party risk management.
- Support the quarterly RC reporting process for Committees and Boards, including collating information and reports, tracking and analysing risk appetite and associated tolerance levels for key risk indicators and risk culture metrics, and assisting with the development of risk reporting to Leadership team.
- Support the GRC with the testing of controls as part of quarterly, half yearly and annual managed investment scheme compliance plan and risk obligations.
- Support the RC team in further developing and embedding a ‘Risk Culture’ analysis and reporting process, with a focus on gathering and analysing metrics and data for quarterly Board reporting.
- Support the GRC team in further developing and embedding the Emerging Risk analysis and process, including maintenance of the Risk register.
- Support the 1st line of defence in the execution of the ‘control self-assessment’ process, as well as the 2nd line of defence controls testing and assurance program.
- Assist with the execution of the business continuity program, including supporting the annual review and testing requirements.
- Assist in preparing for various meetings, including sending out calendar invites, setting the agenda, collating minutes and actions, and follow up, as required.
- Support the rollout of various training modules across the business, including monitoring of completion rates and providing progress updates and reporting.
- Having input into building out the RC system utilising the system ongoing for BAU activities to manage risk and compliance.
- Involvement in RC projects.
- Utilise AI software for drafting and research to support RC deliverables.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years financial services experience, ideally but not necessarily with risk management, compliance, assurance, governance, or auditing background.
- An interest in financial services, personal finance and technology.
- Demonstrated effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to be capable of dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong research,analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, familiarity with Confluence and GSuite desirable.
- Strong reporting skills.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and “can do” attitude.
