The Da Vinci surgical and Ion endoluminal systems are the primary products around which Intuitive develops its range of products and services. The Systems category includes robotic-assisted surgical instruments and an ergonomic surgeon console. The Software category provides operating systems to support its surgical technologies and facilitate care team functions. The Instruments, Stapling, Energy, and Vision categories consist of instruments and accessories designed to integrate with or complement its surgical systems. The Ion products are intended for peripheral lung biopsies. They include PlanPoint, a platform for biopsy planning prior to the actual procedure, and a robotic-assisted catheter-based shape-sensing bronchoscopy platform for navigation and biopsy.

Through the Da Vinci Services segment, the company offers systems and instrument monitoring and maintenance, as well as technical support. The Da Vinci products are globally distributed. The Ion system is marketed only in the US. As of 2020, almost 6,000 Da Vinci systems have been installed in hospitals in 67 countries.
