The firm is one of the largest quick service restaurant companies in the world, with a total of more than $35 billion in annual sales across around 28,000 restaurants and outlets in more than 100 countries. The firm was founded in 1954 and is headquartered in Oakville, Canada.

The firm operates a line of quick-service restaurant brands that include Burger King, Popeyes, Tim Hortons, and Firehouse Subs. Offering eat-in, drive-through, delivery and take out options, the company serves millions of customers across its four main brands daily.

Each brand has its own distinct offerings. Burger King features flame-grilled hamburgers, chicken, and other specialty sandwiches, along with fries, soft drinks, and deserts. Popeyes mainly offers a Louisiana style menu that includes fried chicken, chicken tenders, fried shrimp, seafood, red beans and rice, and other regional items. Tim Hortons offers coffee, tea, and other hot and cold specialty drinks, along with baked goods, classic sandwiches, wraps, and soups.
