Wacker Chemie AG is a chemical producer, more specifically, silicone rubbers, polymer powder, polysilicon and wafers for the semiconductor industry. Based in Munich, Wacker Chemie AG has production facilities in over 20 countries and sell its products in more than 100 countries around the world. The company’s production is located primarily in Germany and in Michigan, in the US. In addition, Wacker Chemie AG finished the construction of a new plant in Tennessee for a total cost of $2.5 billion.
