Today, European stocks rose continuing in yesterday’s trend, as the plan from the European Central Bank (ECB) for bond buying and for further stimulus of the economy gave boost in European Markets.
On the other hand the Nonfarm Payrolls (Aug) report showed less-than-expected growth in jobs of only 96,000 and as a result the U.S. dollar declined. Although U.S. stocks rose because the low jobs growth gave feed to the investor’s bet that the Federal Reserve will pop up money, in order to support the economy, probably next week.
The DJ30 closed at 13,306.64, gaining 14.64 points (0.11%), SPX500 closed at 1,437.92, gaining 5.80 points (0.40%) and the NASDAQ closed at 2,825.11, declining 4.60 points
(-0.16%) in today’s trading.

Amazon Inc. (AMZN) is planning to release a new line of bigger and faster Kindle e-readers and tablets, giving a new challenge to Apple’s dominance of the market with the iPad. Amazon introduced devices yesterday ranging in price from a $69 up to the $599. I addition Amazon will hire 2,000 people in the U.K. in the next two years as it adds new offices and expands its presence in the country. The investment has burdened costs and Amazon said in July it expects a third-quarter operating loss approximately $350 million.
