We are constantly growing and are excited to share that we are looking for a Compliance and AML Officer to join our team!
What will you be doing?
- Maintain and draft Compliance related P&Ps with adherence to MAS regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update the Compliance P&Ps register.
- Guide and update marketing teams on any revised Compliance marketing materials.
- Support the setup of the periodic Compliance Monitoring Program.
- Conduct periodic Compliance monitoring program testing
- Maintain the outsourcing register and collaborate with internal stakeholders to be in compliance with the MAS outsourcing requirements.
- Oversee and update the regulation register and work with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assist in conducting trade/communication surveillance alerts reviews.
- Prepare monthly MI reports/statistics for reporting purposes.
- Support and deliver compliance related training programs, along with producing training materials.
- Work closely with the FCC and Compliance Manager to address regulatory requirements in various aspects of the business and operations.
- Assist in the review of outsourced compliance services for Singapore (e.g. conducting quality checks on resolved transaction monitoring alerts).
- Review escalations and provide AML regulatory advice, e.g. on customer due diligence measures, source of wealth/funds verification.
- Assess and approve payment requests.
- Assist in preparatory / coordination matters for audit or regulatory submission.
- Any other tasks as allocated by your direct line manager.
Requirements
- Relevant related university degree in place (e.g. Accounting, Banking, Finance, Law)
- Relevant certifications in place (e.g. IBF, ICA, ACAMs)
- Min 2 years of relevant working experience (e.g. financial services, audit, legal)
- Experience in carrying out compliance duties in licensed entities is a plus.
- Familiar with relevant laws, rules and regulations such as SFA, PSA, MAS Regulations etc.
- Experience in dealing with audits and/or regulatory examinations.
- Good organizational and project management skill
- A fast learner with agile mindset, collaborative and trustworthy team player with great working attitude
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possesses abilities to work under pressure and multi-task.
This role will be based in our Singapore office. Candidates must have full working rights in Singapore.
