Design Manager

  • Lead the designing studio in Asia (designers + developers). Responsible for the growth and maintenance of a high functioning team
  • Partner with branding and digital teams in strategic planning
  • Develop and manage external vendors and designing agencies efficiently
  • Develop strategies for both short-term and long-term design initiatives
  • Lead the development of Asia local visual systems and Participate in developing brand guidelines
  • Can do hands-on design when necessary
  • Enhance the integration with HQ designing studio with regular communication  
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity
requirements
  • 3 - 5 years of professional design experience in an agency or in-house setting, with 1-2 years of leading a team and managing designers & front-end developers
  • A Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field
  • Have cross-platform design experiences (Web, android, iOS, emails, social media platforms, offline events, etc.,) on both graphic design and video design
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of web development, including but not limited to understanding of HTML, CSS, Native, Angular
  • Have experience with planning long-term strategy and design team for scale
  • Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English
  • A compelling portfolio of work that demonstrates high quality of design across multiple mediums within a variety of campaigns and projects.
