How do I become a Premium Investor?
To become and remain an eToro Premium Investor, you must have account equity of
$20,000 or have made deposit totaling $20,000 within any given period of 12 months.
Account Equity is the total worth of a users’ account which includes the account
Balance and open positions including unrealized profits and losses as well as unprocessed
cashouts, not including bonus money.
We calculate account equity by:
We take the total invested amount of trades add/substract (+/-) the unrealized profits/losses
add(+) unused balance and pending withdrawal requests.

How do I upgrade my account?
In order to upgrade your account type, you must reach the minimum $20,000 account
equity as specified above. Your account is upgraded automatically once you meet
the above criteria.
Can my account be downgraded?
Yes. If you have not met to the minimum $20,000 account equity or total deposit
amount within the 12 month period, your account will automatically be downgraded.
Note: once your account has been upgraded your new status is applicable 12 months
from the time your account has been upgraded. Once the upgrade has expired, and
should your account no longer meet the membership requirements, you will have until
the end of the current quarter to meet the premium membership criteria.
Can I upgrade my account during the month?
Yes. If you see that you’ve reached a higher account requirement before the end
of the month, please contact your account manager or our friendly support team to
discuss your account type.
