How do I get a certain Account?

Your account type depends on the volume of your aggregated lots (trades) or on the volume of your overall deposits. It’s simple: the more you trade and deposit – the better your account type.
If you are a new trader with eToro, your first deposit determines which account are you eligible to hold.

How do I upgrade my account?

In order to upgrade your account type, you must reach the minimum aggregated lots or deposits, as specified in the requirements for each account type. The account type allotment is made automatically at the beginning of each month, according to your aggregated lots or deposits (It is required to reach only one of the criteria – deposits or lots – to be eligible for the upgrade).

Can my account be downgraded?

Yes. If you have not met to the minimum quarterly lots required in order to maintain your account type, your account will be automatically downgraded.

Can I upgrade my account during the month?

Yes. If you see that you’ve reached a higher account requirement before the end of the month, please contact your account manager or our friendly support team to discuss your account type.
