eToro is all about making investing accessible and easier. With low fees and minimum deposits, combined with our user-friendly platform, stock investing is something everyone can do.
You can also invest in fractional shares. A fractional share is a portion of an equity stock that is less than one full share. Fractional shares allow you to purchase stocks based on the dollar amount you want to invest.

What does “zero commission” actually mean?
Zero commission means that no additional fee has been charged. Most brokers add a dealing charge when you buy or sell shares through them. There will be a bid/ask market spread only.
Many brokers also charge a quarterly management fee and/or administration fee. eToro never charges any management, administration or ticketing fees. eToro even absorbs Stamp Duty and Financial Transaction Tax for clients where applicable: an additional saving of 0.5% in the UK, 1% in Ireland, 0.3% in France, 0.2% in Spain and 0.1% in Italy.

Your gains go to you, not to your broker
When you invest with a traditional broker, you first pay commission which eats into any potential gains — meaning that you will lose a part of your profits before you have even begun trading. With eToro, you won’t pay any markup on the shares you buy, so that the commission stays in your pocket, instead of going to your broker.
The advantages of buying shares on eToro do not end with unbeatable pricing:
- No limit on trading volume
- Ability to buy fractional shares
- Receive notifications on volatility and market events
- Free access to TipRanks expert stock analysis

Making our platform easy to use, and removing entry barriers such as commission on stock investments, serves this purpose. It also attracts more customers to eToro, enabling us to grow our user base, and reducing commission. eToro serves millions of clients in more than 140 countries. The larger our user base gets, the easier it will be to lower our fees further.
Alongside our stock selection, we also offer other financial assets and features, such as leveraged trading and short orders, which incur fees that help finance eToro’s operations and are clearly displayed on the platform. You can read more about the fees which eToro charges on this page.
