Role Summary

eToro are looking for an experienced and intellectual Senior Compliance Manager with a strong focus on the FCA Consumer Duty to join our UK Compliance team. Reporting directly to the UK Head of Compliance, you will advise the business on regulatory requirements and controls—ensuring our products and services consistently deliver good customer outcomes.

This is a hands-on operational role, whilst also supporting business-level strategy for UK Compliance, and is suited to an experienced compliance professional who thrives in fast-paced, highly regulated environments and enjoys applying pragmatic, commercially minded compliance solutions.


What will you be doing?

  •  Provide expert regulatory advice and develop frameworks to ensure compliance with the Consumer Duty and other FCA regulations.
  • Hold designated delegated responsibility for the Consumer Duty domain within the Firm’s Management Responsibilities Map.
  • Oversee compliance with COBS, Consumer Duty, and Product Governance (PROD) rules.
  • Administer the Consumer Duty Governance Committee, preparing relevant MI and discussion materials.
  • Coordinate and produce the Firm’s annual Consumer Duty Board Report.
  • Deliver regular reports to senior stakeholders on compliance performance, emerging risks, and regulatory developments.
  • Partner with operational teams to embed compliance “by design” across business processes.
  • Promote continuous improvement by streamlining compliance workflows and leveraging technology and AI-driven tools.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records across all business areas.
  • Conduct monitoring and assurance reviews relating to Consumer Duty compliance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Compliance-focused roles building, implementing and maintaining Compliance processes and Consumer Duty policies.
  • Proven experience in a regulated financial services environment—ideally within retail investments or crypto assets.
  • Strong understanding of the FCA Consumer Duty and wider consumer protection regulations.
  • Solid knowledge of Conduct Risk and Product Governance frameworks.
  • Confident interpreting and applying regulatory materials (e.g., FCA Handbook, Consultation Papers, Dear CEO letters).
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with AI or data analysis tools to support compliance insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—able to translate complex regulations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
