Wednesday 29 October 2025: Trading and investing platform eToro, today celebrated 15 years of pioneering social investing at its annual Investor Summit. Bringing together more than 200 of its top investors from around the world, the event honoured eToro’s community and unveiled new initiatives that herald the next era of investing.
15 years of social trading and investing

Launch of eToro public APIs
eToro announced the launch of its public APIs, now available to select users. The APIs provide direct integration with eToro’s trading ecosystem, offering programmatic access to:
- Market data: real-time prices, spreads, and execution rates
- Portfolio data: PnL, open positions, and trading history for public accounts
- Trading functions: order execution, cancellations, and stop-loss / take-profit management
- Social tools: create or manage posts, watchlists, and interactions.
AI-tools in action
At the Summit, eToro users showcased apps they have built using vibe coding, a natural-language interface that allows users to design trading tools, automations, and analytics using eToro’s infrastructure, with or without traditional coding skills and experience.
Powered by eToro’s public APIs, these tools enable free access to real-time market data, portfolio analytics, and social features.
The builders’ economy
The APIs in conjunction with apps created using eToro’s vibe coding tools serve as the foundation for the eToro App Store where ‘investor builders’ can publish and share their innovations with millions of eToro users globally.
“With vibe coding and public APIs, we’re not just democratizing access to data, we’re democratizing quant investing,” Yoni Assia added. “We’re empowering our users regardless of their coding experience to create, customize, and share tools within the App Store that serve both themselves and the wider eToro community.

Bringing CopyTrader™ to the US
eToro also announced that its patented CopyTrader™ technology, which enables users to automatically replicate the portfolios and trading strategies of verified investors, is now available to US users.

CopyTrader enables millions worldwide to replicate the trades of other investors and now American investors can too. CopyTrader enables you to leverage other investors’ expertise at the click of a button with no management fees or hidden costs. Yoni Assia updated on these key developments at eToro’s annual Investor Summit which gathered eToro’s top investors from around the world. Today, eToro has more than 4,000 investors from 70 different countries who can be copied by others on eToro.
Participants gain exposure and grow their profile by sharing their expertise with eToro’s global community. They have the opportunity to build a business, with participants receiving a monthly payment of up to 1.5% of the assets copying them.
