eToro partners with Amundi to launch a strategic equity portfolio with exposure to next-gen megatrends

5 February 2026 – Trading and investing platform eToro has partnered with Amundi, Europe’s leading asset manager, to unveil an investment portfolio that positions to capture opportunities in transformative megatrends set to shape the world over the long term, while maintaining broad exposure to global markets.

Gil Shapira, Chief Investment Officer at eToro said: “Investing is about more than just tracking the markets, it’s about anticipating what will shape them. Partnering with Amundi, we’re giving our users access to a portfolio that follows broad market trends, but also actively positions them at the forefront of themes redefining tomorrow. It’s a convenient, diversified solution for investors who are targeting consistent growth alongside innovation.”

The Key Themes & Convictions Portfolio is constructed from Amundi’s ETFs and designed for investors seeking opportunities in equity markets. The majority of the portfolio is a broad equity allocation that aims to capture the opportunities in financial markets based on Amundi’s strategic and tactical microeconomic views.

The remaining third of the portfolio is an active selection of ETFs relating to three mega-themes and their sub-themes, identified by Amundi’s investment experts as high-conviction, long-term trends:

  • Environment & Resources: including alternative energy, water, pollution and recycling, food chain, natural resources, and conventional energy ;
  • Social & Demographic Change: including shifts in lifestyle, consumption and aging, healthcare, infrastructure, financials, and emerging markets ;
  • Technology: including robotics, AI, information technology and materials technology.

In addition to offering the Key Themes and Convictions Portfolio, eToro has added 120 Amundi ETFs to the platform, covering a broad range of asset classes including equities, fixed income and commodities.

eToro’s range of Smart Portfolios offer long-term diversified exposure to various market themes. Initial investment starts from $500 and any investor can access tools and charts to track the portfolio’s performance, while eToro’s social feed will keep them up-to-date on developments in the sector.

eToro’s Amundi ETF Key Themes & Convictions Portfolio is an aggressive equity strategy with a thematic selection designed for investors seeking additional sources of opportunities in equity markets.

The portfolio combines a strategic equity approach with a selection of the most dynamic investment themes of the moment. The thematic component represents approximately one third of the portfolio and aims for maximum long-term capital appreciation.

Themes are selected from a wide range of investment sub-themes within three major mega-themes such as:

  • Technology: digitalization of the economy, artificial intelligence, industrial robotics…
  • Demographic change: lifestyle, health, infrastructure…
  • Environment: new energies, water management, food chain.

The selection of themes is reviewed every quarter by Amundi.

The portfolio is predominantly invested in equities via Amundi ETFs. Amundi’s portfolio management experts manage the ETF allocation and selection to determine optimal long-term exposures aligned with the portfolio’s objectives.

The portfolio has a very high risk profile due to exposure to the high volatility of equity markets. We recommend this portfolio for investors with a long-term investment horizon.
